No, I don't mean your registration for the RDH Under One Roof conference. I mean your application for the Sunstar/RDH magazine 2008 Award of Distinction. Every year, Sunstar and RDH honor eight dental hygienists at UOR for the work they have done on a grass roots level in their clinical practice and their communities.
You don't have to be famous to apply or nominate a colleague for this award. Sunstar wants to shine the limelight on practicing hygienists who are making a difference in their patients' lives as well as making a difference on a community level.
Why don't you take the time to review the application and reflect on how you are contributing? Brainstorm. Do some soul searching. Write everything down and then compose a concise, winning answer to the three questions. I guarantee you'll be surprised at how much you have accomplished and how much you are giving back. Remember Sunstar and RDH magazine want to honor you! March 31st is the application deadline.
