Power scaling is one of my favorite subjects and is becoming an increasingly popular modality in today's clinical practice. If you're confused about the differences between magnetostrictive and piezo electric scalers or want to learn more about power scaling then consider signing up for a couple of small group or hands-on workshops at UOR.

This year's UOR lineup features a wide range courses that will answer your questions about what is new in ultrasonic scaling, how to use power scaling effectively, and demystify piezo electric scalers versus magnetostrictive units. The majority of the courses are on Thursday.

Join me in the front row in Nancy Miller's general session on Saturday, a must attend event if you are at all interested in ultrasonics. A pioneer in ultrasonics and an expert in both magnetostrictive and piezo electric technologies, Nancy's spin on the joy of power scaling will be creative, entertaining and challenging!
