"Inspire" was my official word for the 2007 RDH Under One Roof conference. "Inspire" captures the essence of this last weekend's events in our nation's capital. RDH magazine's unwavering support of our profession continues to be abundantly clear, with UOR being the capstone of that commitment.

Most of us didn't get much sleep while we were at the conference, but the sheer energy level of this year's UOR was at an all-time high. Over 1,000 dental hygiene professionals, exhibitors, and Pennwell support staff came together for three days of non-stop fun, education, networking, enlightenment, and, yes, inspiration.

It's hard to describe the positive power that is created when so many dedicated people come together under one roof for three days. If you've been to a UOR, then you know what I mean. If not, then I'd like to personally invite you to the 2008 RDH Under One Roof Conference in Chicago. Mark the dates, July 31 to August 2, on your calendar right now.

There's not enough time today to tell you about all of the wonderful events and happenings, or to say thanks to all those that made this year's event such a success. So stay tuned for future posts about 2007 and previews for Chicago 2008!
