You know the 2008 RDH Under One Roof is not until August. Gee whiz, that sounds like a long way off at this point, but the conference will be here before you know it!
Here's a thought on how to make the conference very affordable. Think of UOR as an investment in your professional career. Most investment strategies involve some type of plan and the discipline to make the plan work. What about putting $50 every pay period into a special UOR Fund?
If you're paid twice a month then this means you’ll have $900 to put towards the cost of the event. This is enough money to cover the conference tuition, most airfares to Chicago and even a couple of nights at the Hilton Hotel.
Every year there are hygienists who miss the conference because the cost seems overwhelming since they didn't activate a special plan early on. Planning for UOR with a strategy like this takes the financial stress of attending the conference out of the picture for most people
